Ring of Proverbs

On the 13th-century silver reliquary, craftsmen engraved Latin prayers with chisels. The design of this ring is inspired by Byzantine inlay art. The silver ring is a miniature of the edge of the reliquary; each letter bears the devotion of medieval artisans. The cross and the prayers on the band revive the inscriptions from mosque domes, condensing the twilight of Córdoba and the redemption by candlelight into a wearable ‘whisper of faith.’
